Our Impact
The tiger comes
first, always.
Every Kangjei Tiger Co. polo carries the Royal Bengal Tiger. That carries an obligation — so a part of every purchase is donated to tiger preservation in India.

Of the world's wild tigers
Live in India — the last stronghold of the species.
A century ago, an estimated 100,000 tigers roamed India. By 2006, habitat loss and poaching had reduced that to 1,411. Project Tiger — launched in 1973 — rebuilt the reserves, and the numbers have recovered since. But the tiger's future remains decided year by year, forest by forest, patrol by patrol.
The Royal Bengal tiger is India's national animal. It is our emblem, our embroidery, and the reason for this brand's name. It seemed wrong to borrow the animal without giving back to it.
A part of every purchase
A share of every polo sold is donated to tiger preservation efforts in India — habitat protection, anti-poaching patrols, and work with the forest communities who share the land with the tiger.
Preserving the hills, too
Sagol Kangjei was born in the hills of Manipur, and the Royal Bengal tiger walks those same forests. Protecting one landscape protects both the game's birthplace and the animal on our chest.
Reported, not promised
We will publish where the donations go each year — the reserves, the partners, and the work they fund — so the promise on this page stays a promise.
